Sports massage: by car or by local group
Practical sports massage means turning up in person for every teaching day. From Guildford that is just under an hour by car, but by train you change at Havant. Drivers in south Surrey can realistically train in Chichester; non-drivers are better waiting for a group nearer home.
Towns in the north of the county, such as Camberley, Epsom, Redhill and Reigate, look towards London rather than the south coast. You can register interest from Surrey, but no local group, venue or place is confirmed by registering.
Questions from Surrey
Is there a direct train from Haslemere or Godalming?
Those towns are on the line to Portsmouth, so the usual route is to change at Havant for Chichester. Check times for your day with a journey planner.
I already work in a Surrey gym. Can my employer book places?
Yes. Employers can book places on SSTA courses or ask about a closed group of up to 10 staff. See the employer training page.
