Check what the headline price buys
A Level 3-only course, a beginner Level 2 and 3 package and a bundle containing extra CPD can all appear in a search for personal trainer course costs. They answer different needs. Identify your starting point before comparing the amount in the advert.
Write the exact award beside each price and check any entry requirement. If you already have an accepted Level 2 certificate, ask whether a quoted package repeats training you do not need. If you are a beginner, make sure the offer includes or explains the foundation required.
Request a complete written quote
Use the same worksheet with each provider. Mark an item as included, extra, optional or not applicable; an empty box is a question to resolve, not a reason to assume the cost is zero.

Compare the teaching behind the price
Ask how coaching practice is observed, how feedback is given and what support is available when you get stuck. A price comparison is incomplete without understanding how you will learn and demonstrate the work.
Do not judge value only by the number of certificates listed. Choose additions because they support a relevant goal, fit your workload and have a clear scope. Save the quote and course terms so you can check them against the final enrolment information.

SSTA’s current Personal Training fee, timetable and payment options are confirmed directly by the academy. Ask for the complete quote for your starting qualification and a breakdown of any compulsory extras.
