Course overview

This Level 3 qualification equips you with a thorough understanding of Pilates principles, anatomy as applied to movement, and the practical skills to design and deliver safe, progressive Mat Pilates classes for a wide range of clients.

You will graduate with the ability to cater for general fitness, rehabilitation, pre- and post-natal, and older adult populations - making you an exceptionally versatile practitioner.

This course is taught by Charli - a practising Pilates instructor with a clinical depth of experience that is rare in the industry.

What you’ll learn

  • Principles and philosophy of the Pilates method
  • Anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics relevant to Pilates practice
  • Spinal mechanics, postural assessment, and movement analysis
  • Designing and cueing safe, progressive Mat Pilates programmes
  • Adapting sessions for beginners, older adults, pre/post-natal clients, and rehabilitation
  • Teaching skills: cueing language, demonstration, observation, and correction
  • Health screening, contraindications, and professional responsibilities

Entry requirements

Open to learners aged 16 and over. The Level 2 Technical Occupational Entry in Fitness Coaching (Certificate) or equivalent is recommended but not always required - please enquire if you are unsure of your eligibility.
